And We're Back! 21 January, 2007 — Hazel

A massive update for your viewing pleasure

Hello postcard-fans, after a few weeks off, I am now back updating the site regularly. I've been very busy what with Christmas and New Year, swanning off to Prague, meeting Mark Lanegan (yes, you heard me right) and launching a new music site, Fuzznut, so have a look at that if you get a chance!

Now, you may have noticed I am not yet married to Mark Lanegan. Well, I'll be honest, I bottled it. I just about managed to squeak "Please can you sign this" and had to be dragged back by my wonderful, patient best mate for a photograph. I have also taken a shine to his delicious best friend Greg Dulli. I didn't get to meet him, but that just means I have a new mission for next time! 'Fickle!' I hear you cry, well yes, perhaps, but who cares. Aside from my teenage-style lustings, the Twilight Singers gigs were incredible, they are my favourite band at the moment without a doubt. OK, there are a lot of postcards to get through, so I am going to list them.

-4 lovely postcards from Pat, from Istanbul, Belgrade, Aleppo and Wien, sounds like a great trip.

-2 postcards of Brittany, from Sue, with the address www.tamebay.com to have a look at.

-A postcard from Denver, Colorado, from Charles.

-A postcard from Chris, of Stafford Castle.

-A postcard of Brussels, from Swin (fellow Prague-goer).

-An anonymous postcard from Wisconsin, advertising beer.

-A postcard from Lauren of an Almond Tree (from Westchester I think).

-A postcard of Glasgow, from Heather (yes, maybe I will put the picture of me and Mark on the site at some point..).

-A postcard of the Town Hall, Ripley, from Charlotte and the people of Ripley.

-A great card from Glenn who was in Cuba drinking lots of Mojitos :)

-An old postcard from my Gran of the Cathedral in Manchester.

-A postcard from Sarah when she visited San Francisco (I spent New Year's Eve at Sarah's and a fabulous time was had by all. I managed to climb a vertical, very tall ladder to the roof, full of wine and wearing stiletto boots. Now that is impressive.).

-A lovely postcard from Stockholm from Felicia. She doesn't like the Pussycat Dolls, so we would probably get along..

-Finally, a postcard from Lisa and Adam from their recent trip to Mauritius. Yes, I am jealous! :)

So let's see, that takes us up to a grand total of 123 postcards. But I still want more! So keep them coming. You can also become my friend on myspace, and say hello, if you like. It's here anyway if you want to.

Oh, and the first person to get Greg Dulli to send me a postcard gets a prize. I haven't decided what that is yet, but I'm doubting said postcard will ever happen...
